AQS1: Alphabet Poem
In this week’s AQS1 lesson, our young learners were reciting the portion of the alphabet poem they have been learning this term.
IS4: 16th Nov
In poster topic “My Path to Jannah,” students show the good deeds and behaviours that help us get closer to Allah. Their work highlights how kindness, prayer, honesty, and helping others guide us toward Jannah.
IS4: 9th November
Our Year 4 students created posters about the minor and major signs of the Day of Judgement. Students explored how these signs remind Muslims to stay mindful, do good deeds, and prepare for the Hereafter.

End of Year Awards Ceremony
As a reminder, tomorrow (Sunday 13th July) marks the end of this academic year at MKIS School of Islamic Studies where we will be holding our End of Year Awards ceremony insha Allah.
- Parents and students are all requested to come together to school as normal for 10:00 a.m. and join us in the school hall
- Students will be seated by class, followed by parents
- Following a brief report on the school’s operations this year, awards will be presented to the top performing students in each subject and class – to keep children comfortable, some treats will be provided 🙂
- Following the Awards ceremony, we will make our way outside for a group picnic (reminder to bring food and refreshments) ending with our normal congregational Dhuhr salah insha Allah
- Ice lollies will be provided by the school 🙂
Unfortunately due to the extreme heat and event logistics, Sports Day will be deferred to the first part of the next academic year insha Allah. We apologise if this comes as a disappointment to our students, but ensuring the health and wellbeing of all remains a priority.
Lastly, as the weather is expected to be extremely warm, please ensure children are suitably protected with suncream/shade/umbrellas if necessary.
