Update: Temporary School Closure – Re-opening 12.03.17
We are pleased to advise that MKIS School of Islamic Studies will be open this Sunday (12.03.17) insha Allah. The school hall remains out of bounds and so we will be operating with temporary measures for the foreseeable future until the hall is available for use again.
Please take note of the following temporary changes:-
- There will be no assemblies in the morning or afternoon.
- Doors will open at 10:00 a.m. sharp – There will be no waiting area inside so please ensure you arrive on time and drop your children at the door.
- Please do not accompany your children to their classes during this temporary period.
- No Tuckshop – Please ensure your children bring their own drinks and snacks. Breaks will be held within classrooms.
- No congregational Dhuhr prayer – due to the hall being unavailable
- School will end at 1:15 p.m. – Please arrive in time to collect your children from the school courtyard as normal.
Jazakoum’Allah khayr for your understanding and support during this temporary mode of operation. We will communicate as soon as we are advised that the hall is available for use again.
